The orange Holden ute was entered by South Australian baker Richard Waters and Jeff ?.
It was equipped with a large extra fuel tank – of approximately 300 litres – which took up most of the back of the ute.
It also had racing seats, a roll cage, radar detector and radio equipment.
The car broke down in South Australia, not far from Waters' home town. They were unable to continue and returned home.
